OK so writting your name with sparklers is quite hard. I used an 8 sec shutter speed and -ve 2 flash. Also you gotta write your name backwards!! As you can see I never managed to get the A right.

Ok so here are the light tail ones. We went out after dark and set up the camera by a busy roundabout on a tripod. Under manual I had to make sure I had focused the lenses right on something in the distance. I also used a lens hood to minimize the light from the lamposts. As soon as a car or two neared the camera I started using a 8-10 sec shutter speed. My flash was -ve 1.5.
Tonight I'm going to try on the motorway over-bridge and use a longer shutter speed say 30sec. Fun!!
