Day 2 "Your Favorite Color"

Ok so its day 2 and the theme is 'your favorite color'. Well, that's easy! Red. But how to capture red in a photo...so I google red images and it came up with a lot of black and white photos with only the red aspect showing.

So I thought cool! I like this idea. But how to do it? As I have a canon I tried using Picture Style Editor to no avail, so next I tried Digital Photo Professional but again to no avail.

I don't have mac compatible Photoshop so that was out of the question too....Aha! I'll sync the photos I took with my iphone and then use the Color Effects app I have installed.

                                      

It kinda worked but it took ages and ended up having to email the finished product to myself as iPhoto could not upload the png. format. Arrrgggg!!!

As you can probably tell by now I'm not very savvy with technological devices. Today highlighted the need to learn how to use the applications and software that came with my Canon EOS 1100D...

           
                                                     

In the end I wasn't very happy with today's efforts. I don't really like the photos I took or how long it took me to figure out how to achieve my idea. Never mind! The idea behind it I still like.  Please don't judge me too harshly!
